It’s Never Too Late!

I wrote another scene for the story before I went to sleep this morning, and I believe I only have two more to go to finish it.  I won’t be typing it out now because I am getting ready to go to a 2020 Creative Chicago Expo at the Cultural Center.  This is its 7th year and I don’t think I heard of it until it was in its 5th and I’ve never been to it.  They are supposed to have over 100 vendors and 25 free workshops.  Looking over the list of workshops listed on the card it sounds like most are for visual artists, or those who have works to sell and want to open a gallery, start a business or promote their works.

I am not there yet, so I don’t know how much I may benefit from this expo.   Workshops on Imagination Training Cultivating Shamelessness, DIY Web basics and Tools for Tough Times sound like they might give me some information I can use and not all of the workshops were listed on the card.  The expo begins at 10 and ends at 4.  I always like to get to things like that as early as possible and stay for the full day, or until there is nothing left that will interest me.
The best part about this is that it is free, (but of course they hope to sell stuff to those who come).  As I have said, I take advantage of free information whenever I have the chance and it is one of the great parts about living in Chicago.  We have so much free music too, especially during the summer months.  People from all over the country, and even other parts of the world come here to take advantage of some of those events, like Taste of Chicago.  And all I have to do is pay bus fare to get there.
Then, for those who have unlimited funds, or to whom such things are vitally important and worth scrimpping money for attendance  fees, we will have Lolopolooza.  I imagine it must be something like Woodstock was, but a lot more expensive and without the drug use, (at least widespread drug use).
